Or at least, in Mumsnet World there are. Is it just me, or is this expression becoming a teeny bit overused?

I am sure you are right Smile

Chil1234 · 04/02/2011 15:07

Someone like you might well think that but I really wouldn't like to say..... Wink

weblette · 04/02/2011 15:07

pagwatch · 04/02/2011 15:07

Well if you feel comfortable saying then that I am sure you must know much more about it than I do. What do I know after all?

meantosay · 04/02/2011 15:08

I really wouldn't worry about it Swan Smile

pagwatch · 04/02/2011 15:09

I guess if that is all you have to worry about....

cobbledtogether · 04/02/2011 15:09

I agree there are way too many passive aggressive people on here.

You'd never get me behaving like that.

HTH :)

fuck off. Thanks for all the helpful replies. Maybe I should have posted this on a different kind of forum.

Chil1234 · 04/02/2011 15:12

Does 'passive aggressive' mean nonchalantly throwing rocks? Slashing tyres but your heart's not in it? Daydreaming your way through a drive-by shooting?

swanandduck · 04/02/2011 15:13

Have you thought of joining Netmums Chil?

OP posts:
Chil1234 · 04/02/2011 15:17

@swannandduck... haven't we answered the question for you satisfactorily, then? Personally, I thought the witty responses in the style of aggressive passivity?... (passive agressiveness?)... were MN at its very finest.

TrillianAstra · 04/02/2011 15:27

You're biscuiting your own thread? Oh deary me. :)

swanandduck · 04/02/2011 15:30

OP posts:
LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 15:37

Are you going to give us an example then?

meantosay · 04/02/2011 15:39

Yes, Swan, could you show us some examples so we can decide if people are being passive aggressive, or just merely aggressive passive.

Quenelle · 04/02/2011 15:43

I would never dream of thinking that but each to their own.

coatgate · 04/02/2011 15:44

I never really understand passive aggressive. Am I a bit thick?

maltesers · 04/02/2011 15:44

LadyPumkinton just read through some thread and see how rude some folk can be. The answers to some questions and concerns are very unpleasant.

They are not even passive aggressive, some posts can be very rudely aggressive and insensitive.

They only do it because they feel safe to be rude, hidden behind a nickname and a computer.

If they had to respond face to face with you , they would be a bit more polite.

Its like drivers who are rude who stick their middle finger up at you. If you were standing in a queue with them , they wouldnt dare.

. . . and anyone who responses to that with "yes i would". . . . . then your are rude !
