And said "Are you ok?" It could have been a heartstopping moment but it was comfortable

No handcuffs were produced; no warrant.

I write about the police under my own name; so it seems reasonable to on nodding terms with them.

I have talked to people who think that is unreasonable. (and maybe a bit dangerous)

But I take the view that the ordinary officer has no real say in the big decisions. so, what the hell

I'm sorry Gabby...
That was mean of me Sad

I do still think you should write a book though.

scurryfunge · 04/02/2011 16:04

scurry another valid poster.

What kind of books have I written?

Well, I dont do novels.

I do little books with short true stories.
Some funny. Some serious.

A bit of light poetry. Even swearing when it really happened that way.

My last book was called "The last laugh.
(Playing extra time.,)"

Because I had pros cancer diagnosed.

(the Ref must have lost his whistle)

Lets try and cut out the abuse and keep it reasoanble "Gabby"

Sorry to hear about the cancer, Gabby. Are you feeling well?

AlabasterQueen · 04/02/2011 16:19

Is English your first language Gabby? Because your posts completely and totally confuse me.

thx1138 · 04/02/2011 16:21

Gabby. The more I read of you the more I think you are my raving mad but quite lovely septuagenarian godfather. Do you live in Nottingham? I must know.

queenofboak · 04/02/2011 16:23

I heart Gabby a bit.

Don't get the "Gabby" thing though it always feels phased like a question IYSWIM

HattiFattner · 04/02/2011 16:24

if your book made as much sense as this thread, im not surprised that the police asked you if you were OK.

You sound slightly off centre and this could indicate a number of different conditions, from stroke, paranoia, mania, depression. Or maybe you just march to a different drummer.

The police officer was doing her job - saw someone who seemsa little strange, trusted her instincts and checked up on you in a benign, compassionate and friendly way.

queenofboak · 04/02/2011 16:26

Pressed post too soon

I also imagine "Gabby" accompanied with "air quotes"

spikeycow · 04/02/2011 16:26
