I know of Katie Hopkins as runner up on The Apprentice a few ears ago and as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity. Why is she getting so much publicity? She's a nobody and yet she gets on the panel of Question Time and in the Daily Mail. Does anyone know what she actually does now in RL that makes her opinions so important? Why has she not just faded away like all the other reality TV contestants that had their 15 minutes of fame?

Agree it is for effect. Dreadful woman, have seen her twice on question time now, first time I didn't know who she was. When I found out she has been on a reality TV show, it all made sense. Just wants attention so is deliberately controversial.

how come she is suddenly everywhere?? On Radio 2 last month slagging off breastfeeding (her lovely phrase "dangling their mammaries in Costa Coffee" is now etched in my memory forever , then Newsnight, and now this. She basically makes a living from spewing her vitriolic hatred of other women!

I agree. Definitely for effect as I struggle to believe that anybody could be this consistently unpleasant and ignorant. She was on Radio 2 yesterday talking about public transport in rural areas. She described rural folk as 'dribbling' and was really quite nasty.

She is absolutely awful, I turn off anything that she's been on. She just irritates me too much.

When ever I see her all I can think off is the time she had sex in a field with a married man and it was all staged so they were "caught out" and papped and the pics were in the papers. How sad must you be to do something like that to get your photo in the paper.
