I love this site...but it's called MUMSNET...I know and accept there are some regular male posters...and they should benefit from the site as they're parents too...but some men here have massive agendas and only post in threads related to sex..teenage girls and other similar things.

I KNOW they can't be banned...but it really ANNOYS me when they clutter the place up! AIBU?

I didn't ask if prejudice was your specialist subject. Racism and prejudice are, as I know you are aware, 2 completely different things.

FGS Alouiseg did not come across as bitter/racist/snipy at all, aren't we all being a bit paranoid? I come from an ethnic background and make jokes about it all the time.

ScottishMummy, I think you're fab, but I must admit I also find your posts a bit hard to read sometimes and you do come across VERY scottish, as your name suggests and the dialogue you sometimes use (I mean I have a Sauf Landon accent dunn I, but I don't write like I do cos wot's the point, innit).

And the assumption that all scots are pissed - well of course not ALL scots, but you gotta admit, in general, Scots like a drink! Just like turks (where me muvva and farva come from) like humous, talking louder than necessary, arguing, and making their own children's lives a nightmare by trying to own and control them.

TBH bupcakes, it may seem that way to the few men who are on here - that the women argue with each other more than they do with the men. It's statistically very likely. It's just that this is a very skewed sample.
