actually, never mind - ive just seen the price of the organic ones so i am just going to buy a free range chemical filled on instead, OMG £11 for a chicken big enough for three people and a small dog!! Falls over

not necessarily - free range isn't the same as organic and it would normally say FR if it was - don't trust be though I an guessing!

scurryfunge · 01/02/2011 14:09

here

Probably more free range then the free range as there are strict rules on organic farming where as free range just means they have left a door open on a shed full of 4,000 chickens so a few of them might manage to get out and wonder around a small patch of dirt outside every so often.

mutznutz · 01/02/2011 14:11

Oh yes...this should get 'em all going Grin

(sits back and munches on organic popcorn)

sorry xp with scurry.

brightlightsandpromise · 01/02/2011 14:13

thanks scurry - even seeing the "nice" barns makes me feel slightly nauseous :( Free range for us, can't afford the organic.

oh I learned a new thing - ta! Grin

brightlightsandpromise · 01/02/2011 14:15

oh bloody hell Ryoko!! that is worrying. WE have been only eating fish for a couple of years (you will notice i didnt say the V word) because we are concerned re wefare. I did wonder if i was being niave about the free range stuff. Ah bollocks - local butcher, that has to be a better source?? At this rate will be "veggie" again as we wont be able to afford meat i feel comfortable bloody well eating
