Monday night appears to be Kareoke night.

Last week it went on beyond midnight and even kept the DDs awake (who are never normally bothered by any sort of noise)

I know the neighbour the other side complained to the landlord last week. Shall I bang on the door in a rage or get the landlords number from other neighbour?

Why not phone environmental health or the police and complain if it is really loud.

AtYourCervix · 31/01/2011 22:07

DH just stomped round (he goes to bed at 8ish because of work) he's been banging for 5 minutes - its so loud they can't hear Shock

First step, I would knock on the door and explain in a polite and friendly manner that it's really really loud at your side.

If that didn't work, then, I'd bring out the bitch

This is so annoying! Exactly what my neighbours do, caterwauling all night-bloody-long! I have previously; asked politely, asked not so politely, shouted in their faces that I would call the police. Left 'absolute 80s radio' on full blast during a weekend away :) that made me feel good but probably did nothing.

Best thing to do is go to council and ask about nuisance noise. Make a diary, possibly get a dictaphone. Get a big fucker of a DH probably works too.

If they are students try complaining to the Uni/College, they usually have a community liaisons person who deals with this.

I stand with you OP, the little shits
