...was watching a repeat of Top Gear with ds1 (7) yesterday and JC, RH and JM were talking about the financial crisis/credit crunch.

He basically said that due to the FC/CC whatever car you have and the house you live in now...thats it. Thats what youre stuck with.

I am starting to think he is right.......and thinking he is right is making me feel all dirty...

Hmm we have a car unlikely to pass it's MOT and we rent a house...good times.

LadyThumb · 31/01/2011 18:55

Agree with him - but I am ever hopeful of winning the lottery!

HecateQueenOfWitches · 31/01/2011 18:56

No.

I refuse to live in a world where Jeremy Clarkson is right about something.

nikki1978 · 31/01/2011 18:57

Oh dear, I rent my parents house and will have to leave in 3 years when they sell. Does this mean I will be homeless?

expatinscotland · 31/01/2011 18:57

I agree with that, too.

And like, DITD, it ain't a barrell of larfs.

sixlostmonkeys · 31/01/2011 18:58

heh, Jeremy Clarkson is right about a lot of things - just some people don't like to admit it Grin

SarahStrattonHasNiceBears · 31/01/2011 18:58

YABVVU to want to cry. It is no coincidence that Jeremy Clarkson's initials are JC. The man is a God

bubblewrapped · 31/01/2011 18:59

Jeremy is always right. Grin

JamieLeeCurtis · 31/01/2011 19:00

He's occasionally right, but Top Gear is on a loop here in Curtis Towers, and I have a hard time convincing Beavis and Butthead (aka my DSs) that he is not the Jehovah.

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 31/01/2011 19:00

I think unfortunately he is right...and it sucks.

bettybosseye · 31/01/2011 19:01

My MIL has a crush on Jeremy Clarkson. It's a worry as otherwise she is a perfectly sane and rational being.

sheeplikessleep · 31/01/2011 19:02

JC makes my skin crawl and itch at the same time

curlymama · 31/01/2011 19:39

What monkeys said.

ipredicttrouble · 31/01/2011 20:26

YADNBU

LittleMissHissyFit · 31/01/2011 20:29

CrapBag · 31/01/2011 20:32

YABU.

JC is right on loads of stuff. Smile

TheFoosa · 31/01/2011 20:43

I have admitted to this before, but I have had VERY RUDE dreams about JC

melikalikimaka · 31/01/2011 20:45

Out of the three, James May!

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 31/01/2011 20:53

JEREMY CLARKSON IS GOD! Grin

LadyBlaBlah · 31/01/2011 20:55

I changed my car recently

And my friend is upgrading their house

It's OK folks, he was wrong.

DITD · 31/01/2011 21:50

I hope you bleached your retina afterwards TheFoosa Wink

I am glad I am not the only one who finds him unbearable

When I first found myself agreeing with him I felt I needed to go off and hose myself down with dettol...

James May is divine I adore him. Dh knows I would leave him in a heartbeat for JM Smile

TG is also on a seemingly endless loop at our house too...sigh....

I am not sure I want to live in a world where JC is right about ANYTHING Sad

BendyBob · 01/02/2011 09:22

I think JC is hilarious and often right. Even when he's wrong he's still v funny.

RMCW · 01/02/2011 09:31

....the best line I have heard was from Rh actually..

From the US Special when they were instructed to camp out and eat roadkill...

"I'm not peeling a squirrel"

JC has to be right sometimes, as he happily contradicts himself (all in the same I am obviously right kind of way). Just watch him praising the Prius when talking to Cameron Diaz, or discussing interior design with Will Young.

You are supposed to hate (love/hate) JC, it how the show works.
