I don't like rich tea.

Cardboard.

Remind me of rationing.

Katiekitty · 30/01/2011 21:55

Jam Mallows?

I'm intrigued... are they a jammy match for the Dodger?

OP posts:
PiccalilliShinpads · 30/01/2011 21:59

Jam Mallows sounds familiar - I just remember that they were only ever served at birthday parties in our house ...so they were quite a delicacy

Mallow Fannies would have been a better marketing ploy though IMO Grin

pointythings · 30/01/2011 21:59

Ginger nuts stand up to coffee very nicely, shouldn't be dunked though, they work more as a contrast between mouthfuls of coffee.

Proper filter coffee for preference.

PiccalilliShinpads · 30/01/2011 22:00

...or Mallow Minges

Katiekitty · 30/01/2011 22:03

Talking of Mallow

Anyone partial to a Tunnocks Tea Cake at all?

OP posts:
PiccalilliShinpads · 30/01/2011 22:05

Are they the ones that look like boobs without nipples?

Sorry I will stop now!

Asda sell splinter group Jammie Dodgers I think.

tomhardyismydh · 30/01/2011 22:10

I once ate half a family sized packet of digestives (when I was 4) over the park with my sister ended up with green diarrhea running down my legs. my sis was mortified as she had to run me home Grin

dark tunnocks tea cakes are lush as are caramel loggs and snowballs. cant seem to get the loggs or snow balls as readily in england as up the road

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 30/01/2011 22:11

Do they still sell trio bars?

BTW I actually prefer bourbons to hobnobs Blush

tomhardyismydh · 30/01/2011 22:13

dd loves bourbons is the only biscuits she eats.

Katiekitty · 30/01/2011 22:13

Tomhardy - what a story!

Hearing it in the same context as caramel Loggs though, has made me feel a little peculiar

OP posts:
tomhardyismydh · 30/01/2011 22:14

sorry could not avoid the logg conection Grin

jazzchickens · 30/01/2011 22:16

Do any of you still have your own teeth? Grin

tomhardyismydh · 30/01/2011 22:20

I do jazz but mostly proped up with lots of aluminum along with a serious aversion to digestives Grin

RantyMcRantpants · 30/01/2011 22:20

I am tucking in to home made Peanut Butter Cookies, dunked in milk Grin very, very, scrummy.

I second the recipe sharing.... My DSD made peanut butter cookies once and I coud have eaten the whole lot..

Katiekitty · 30/01/2011 22:24

Can I be frank here?

It may cause upset, but I am not sure where I stand with the Fig Roll.

I think I like them, but then, after a couple, I'm never so sure.

What am I doing wrong?

tomhardyismydh · 30/01/2011 22:27

I think the fig rolls are a guilty pleasure.

they are lovely but shouldnt be enjoyed a bit like the gariballdi

Katiekitty · 30/01/2011 22:30

Precisely RealEyes

They are an enigma alright

I think the fig roll may take themselves a little too seriously, yet, sometimes, I think they like it that way
