Not really an AIBU but request for help on gloves (not mittens) for 2yo?

Does anyone know where I could get a pair of tiny gloves for a 2 year old?

Everything for toddlers seems to be mitten-based but DD gets frustrated when she can't use her fingers so I thought I'd look for gloves instead. Searched around town this afternoon and couldn't see anything.

On the internet there's some great gloves for older kids (4+) which have rubber grip stuff on the palms and fingers but I dont think they do them for toddler age.

It's freezing outside today and she's lost one of her last pair of mittens. I'd rather replace them with gloves tomorrow if I can find any.

Does anyone know where to find toddler gloves?

Magic gloves!! They're tiny and stretch to fit a 10yr old Grin

Thanks - I saw these on Amazon and they looked fab but it said that they only fitted age 4+ and I thought they might fall off (DD is on the small side of average for her age). Is there somewhere else that does them in baby sizes?

George at Asda seem to have lots. From age 1.

I've found them! Age 1-3 Magic Gloves - cheers Mutz.

All the good places seem to have gone! Adams and Ethel Austin were great for those baby and toddler bits you realised you needed once you were out of the house like mini gloves and hats (EA used to stock a cheap buggy for about a tenner that would do you in an emergency).

Now I'd try Mothercare, if you're not fussed that they are listed as "boys" these might work:

I got some for DS in John Lewis

I know what you mean OP. DS gets totally frustrated with mittens as he can't do anything with them on

putthekettleon · 29/01/2011 17:19

I got some for DD from H&M. Not that she'll wear them...

Brill - thanks all.

Have ordered a set of the Magic Gloves from Amazon (only £1.99!) and will get another pair from one of the shops suggested here tomorrow. All of these shops are a bus ride away in the town centre which explains why I didn't see anything on the nearby shopping street when I was walking around earlier.
