There is so much of this on MN. And in RL. Do you think some people just need a hobby?

Can i get worked up by your typos then Reality??
Smile

AgentZigzag · 28/01/2011 23:38

I agree with you, my brother is just like that.

He'll get right arsey about things that have fuck all to do with him and I wonder where he gets the energy to be bothered from tbh.

He's a petty minded idiot Smile

sometimes what hurts you might seem unimportant to others but it still hurts, so it matters

YANBU - There ARE some posts where people do seem genuinely worked up, and others where it seems more affected. Its quite exhausting to see so much of it, and a tad dull.

reelingintheyears · 28/01/2011 23:40

?

AgentZigzag · 28/01/2011 23:40

What kind of hobby would you recommend Reality?

Telling, very telling.

GloriaSmut · 28/01/2011 23:41

No, it isn't just you. Although I suspect that when message boards and RL combine, all common sense and perspective is lost. Only I've just heard about a friend (a regular poster on a footy forum) who was, last week, visited at home by someone he'd been having a fairly inconsequential disagreement with on the forum. The visit was not a conciliatory one either!

reelingintheyears · 28/01/2011 23:42

My hobby is embroidery....Smile
And sewing Church kneelers....

Thankyou.

reelingintheyears · 28/01/2011 23:43

But i like hash much more..

SpeedyGonzalez · 28/01/2011 23:46

Gloria - hahahahaha! How ridiculous!

Hi 2Shoes! Howya doing? I'm not talking about hurtful stuff, btw. It's silly nonsense, such as: "I can't believe that someone would ACTUALLY walk into Primark with a pair of Crocs on! What is the world coming to!" - that's the kind of thing I'm referring to.

Reality - ho ho. Was expecting that kind of comment, and oh, it would be you, wouldn't it? Bleedin' pregnancy hormones driving you to distraction, are they? Well, I've never hit a pregnant woman before but there's always time for a first - PUT 'EM UP! GOOOOOOON!!!

Grin Oh, and congrats on being knocked up, girly, that's totally splendid Grin

AgentZigzag · 28/01/2011 23:51

Are you a very bad person Speedy? Cos I'd only wish that prick on my worst enemy Grin

SpeedyGonzalez · 28/01/2011 23:58

2shoes, I had something on which was then cancelled. However, I've been ill all week and am only just on the mend. So we're having family time + rest time tomorrow.

However I hope you have a fab time without me and I'll do my best to find out about the next one well in advance - I always seem to miss them, but SirBoob does a great job of keeping me informed.
