What is with all the SAHM/WOHM threads today.
Can we just all accept:
some people are do not undertake paid work
some people are lazy
some people are busy and you don't know about it
some people are women
some people have timekeeping issues
some people have green hair

and those groups are not all the same!!

I am saying that as a lazy, child neglecting, housework dodging, gold digging sahm

as a feckless, chore dodger...with last minute cleaning tendencies, money hungry, sex avoider, part time worker, prone to child ignoring.

AMumInScotland · 28/01/2011 14:02

YANBU - and I say that as a lazy, work-dodging, child-neglecting (but actually he's 17 and dad's at home) WOHM. Who should be focussing but its been a long week....

What about the child neglecting SAHMs such as myself? Our plight is so often forgotten

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 28/01/2011 14:08

There should be a corner for trolls to play in really shouldn't there - so fucking annoying. It would be brilliant if we could move threads ourselves - just pick one up and dump it in Troll Corner....

muminthecity · 28/01/2011 14:09

I work as little as possible, parent as little as possible, and drink wine and eat chocolate as much as possible.

I am clearly superior to SAHMs and WOHMs. Anyone who says I'm not is obviously either a lazy cow who can't be arsed to work as they prefer watching Jeremy Kyle whilst slumming around in a dressing gown, and doesn't even deserve to have children; OR a career-obsessed, child hating hussy who would rather sit in an office all day whilst paying someone else to raise their children, the children they don't deserve to have in the first place.

There are no in-betweens, no grey areas. It's one or the other. There, glad I could clear that up for you Grin

But SPB - turns out on the "laughing at SAHMs dropping their DCs off late" thread, that the OP is the perfect woman. She has come to MN to enlighten us. It has been a revelation

alicethepalace · 28/01/2011 14:53

I must be most perfect because I work in a kitchen!

Why not send the kids out to work? They could go up a chimney or sew sequins on clothes or scrub floors or something? Then we could MN all day and be supported by them.
