DS calls them "the servers," which got me thinking: Are we to believe that these poor creatures are acting solely out of some intense, altruistic desire to please the Octonauts like some kind of nuns of the sea? Hmm Or could it be something more sinister slavery, perhaps? And what just what is Miomi trying to imply with their half-vegetable lineage?

Could this be setting a Shock Bad Example for the Children?

Nah, all you need to find is one of those toy vending machine's with the big toys in the plastic balls in them. I think there's one in the Xscape....

Habbibu · 27/01/2011 22:32

What happens if you add food colouring paste to white chocolate? I hate fondant icing, so need an alternative.

Blatherskite · 27/01/2011 22:35

I'd split I think Habbibu.

Right, I'm off to bed to dream of Octopod cakes. I do like a bit of a cake challenge Grin Anyone bored enough can have a look at the photo's of previous attempts on my profile if they like.

Habbibu · 27/01/2011 22:36

dd knows all the episodes just from the wee picture in the HDD screen. Does this make her a genius or me a terrible mother?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 27/01/2011 22:36

Blather - I reckon that if you buy specific Easter eggs (like the buckets with little eggs in) then you could get the plastic domes for the octopods.

Habbibu, not sure.. I reckon it should be OK, but might go streaky?

DaisyChainGang · 27/01/2011 22:36

Oh, yes, DS begs and begs for toys in those clear plastic balls from vending machines. So that would be cake AND pressie sorted, then! Grin I have until July...

You'd split, Blathers? Bloody hell, I'll be worried about all my kitchen experiments and their effects on innocent women hundreds of miles away. Butterflies flapping their wings, and all that...

I think the paste might work. I know it's ridiculous, but I just can't stand the taste of fondant, and can't royal ice to save myself. Kudos to you, blathers - gorgeous cakes and children...

Blatherskite · 28/01/2011 09:37

Funny how a missed key can make such a difference. Meant It'd split, sorry.

Or even 'It would' in proper, non lazy English Grin

AmazingBouncingFerret · 28/01/2011 09:47

That cake is crazy.

So does anyone else think Shellington has a nice voice in a sort of David-Tennanty way? Blush

Tunip · 31/01/2011 13:27

What is the OP trying to say about my nickname??? Wink

(Recently name changed - troied Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, Professor Inkling etc - all were in use! )

lurkeyishere · 31/01/2011 14:11
