won't sit still

Have been going to a local playgroup in a bid to make friends and socialise DS. Lovely group but they insist on making everyone sit and sing for 15mins at the end.

My 21month DS manages approx 5 mins, if I give him milk. Then he has a tantrum (not due to my singing -I mime). Should I
a) restrain him until he learns
b) let him run around and suffer the dirty looks
c) leave early to avoid above?

Leave early far to long for a 21 month old to sit still.

I would do B. We have plenty of little ones at our toddler group (my child included) that can't/won't sit still for the singing and go off and do their own thing. No one minds. Most sensible people know it's unrealistic to expect a baby or young toddler to sit still for any length of time, so if they give you dirty looks it's their problem

Mine's like this, I do a combination of b) and c). He's 15mo. I don't blame him, TBH, the songs they do are shoite
