No not at all.

I have a chest infection following a cold. I am off work on AB. I keep thinking a hug would help. Grin

Mrswhiskerson · 25/01/2011 19:52

Ahhh hope you feel better soon , try some berroca and beechams cold flu caps before you go to bed they really help you sweat it out , I had a horrendous cold three days before
my wedding and had loads of berocca and lemsips etc it was gone for the big day , lots of hugs

AgentZigzag · 25/01/2011 19:56

I thought this was going to be about your DH not wanting to get near you Grin

I'll give you a hug and an alcoholic drink of your choice (for medicinal reasons) Smile

Hope it passes quickly.

i may need wine this evening. despite giving it up on week nights. i also have a very large box of belgian seashells hidden somewhere.

Quick but heartfelt hug (holding breath so I don't get the nasty cold too!) Smile

Forget the wine, go for a drop of whiskey in hot water (i.e. boiled), or in warm milk. That will sort you out! The seashells will work wonders too of course.

YNBU, I have a cold and mild chest infection too and feel horrible and self-pitying out of all proportion to the actual seriousness of the illness. Was actually disappointed that I didn't have a temperature as I felt it would have dignified my suffering somehow Blush

Hugs, sympathy, nice hot cup of pre-wine tea, indulge yourself as much as you can and wishing you a good night's sleep, you poor thing. Fluffy socks and jumpers help too, I find.

AtYourCervix · 25/01/2011 20:28

mmmm.sloe gin is surprisingly soothing.

mumbar, I sent you sympathy and a{{hug}} too - but the message seems to have disappeared! Hope this is not symbolic of how your day is going Sad

mumbar · 25/01/2011 20:31

LOL!!! BTW My temp was 40.7° Shock you can have some if it dignifies your suffereing somewhat. Grin
