Am I?

I have seen loads of threads where OP makes a case but somewhere in the discussion, the whole issue collapses and other people take over and start talking about other stuff!

It's annoying especially if you have made an effort to say your views!!!C'mon nos, start your own thread.

ok, rant over, let's change the subject! LOL

wukter · 25/01/2011 18:42

what can you expect these days

MmeLindt · 25/01/2011 18:43

What did you make, Hully, that was so red?

Magna · 25/01/2011 18:43

What did you make Hully beetroot stew?

Hullygully · 25/01/2011 18:44

I made spicy ricey very nicey. I'm afraid that is it's name. The red thing of shame.

Sazisi · 25/01/2011 18:45

Is it like a tomato risotto?

Sazisi · 25/01/2011 18:45

I made beetroot soup once (trying to use up a glut of beetroot from the organic box), it tasted like shit.

OracleInaCoracle · 25/01/2011 18:46

oooh yum.

op, sorry Wink

Hullygully · 25/01/2011 18:46

It's rice with chopped up veggie sausages and four hundred red vegetables and thick tomato passata, red wine and paprika. It is quite red.

diddl · 25/01/2011 18:47

Well you can ask...

Hullygully · 25/01/2011 18:47

See, jumpingcastles?

Now we are all having a lovely old chat. What's not to like?

Honeydragon · 25/01/2011 18:47

Please read classics very few have anything to do with the subject title. You are a bit nu in regards to threads in a topic. But YABU if they are in chat.

Now can anyone tell me when I'm supposed to book my dog in for her booster jabs as I've lost last years diary

MmeLindt · 25/01/2011 18:48

LOL at spicey ricey very nicey. Great name.

OracleInaCoracle · 25/01/2011 18:49

honey, can you call the vet? we did for benji.

hully, that sounds loverly. may steal it (but replace veggie sausage with chorizo)

Honeydragon · 25/01/2011 18:51

Hully I shall give that a whirl sounds good, we do tomato rice but that is onions cumin ground and fresh coriander sugar and tinned tomatoes, tis more pink really. Every home should have a dish that involves chucking tomatoes at rice

Peachy · 25/01/2011 18:53

Hecate neonazi hamsters???? I think ds1 is after one of those; his future hamster is depicted on his Laptop holding aloft a flag with a corrupted Union jack bearing the slogan 'Emil Hamsters Dominate' or some such.

Where would I find them- neo nazis hamsters are us? or would they threaten the cat do you think?

(Non-coincidentally ds1 is doing the nazis at school, had to write a poem on kritallnacht today. Not sure about the hamster link.

Tolalola · 25/01/2011 18:53

Oooh talking of tomatoes and rice, I just had the most mmmmmmm veggie curry. I think there was coconut milk in it and it was so good.

But I picked out all the okra. Just can't stand it. Why is okra always so slimy?

Magna · 25/01/2011 18:54

Spicey ricey might have to nick the name if you don't mind hully.

SauvignonBlanche · 25/01/2011 18:54

The rice sounds great, I could dye my haggis red. [bhmm]

jumpingcastles · 25/01/2011 18:56

LOLEST!

OracleInaCoracle · 25/01/2011 18:57

tolalola, the restaurant I used to manage used to serve battered okra with chickpea dhal, it was bloody marvellous.

Tolalola · 25/01/2011 19:04

Hmm that actually sounds quite nice, lissielou.

Every time I eat okra it makes me feel like I'm munching on soft, mucousy slugs.

JamieLeeCurtis · 25/01/2011 19:08

MrsLindt. Skye is beautiful. I love Ullapool as well. And this is a few years ago, mind, but we stayed in a lovely guest house my Loch Shiel , near the Applecross peninsula. And of course that place where Hamish Macbeth was filmed (can't remember)

Durness on the north coast has a beautiful beach. I love Scotland

Honeydragon · 25/01/2011 19:11

Mmmmmmn mucusy slugs

Wow I really should've had lunch today....

AtYourCervix · 25/01/2011 19:11
