I had just posted a VERY LONG reply and was about to send it when it disappeared, so I'll try again.

I think anyone who comes on here and wants swearing banned should go to another forum that's more suited to them.

This is an adult forum where one can have a viewpoint without being censored.

If people don't like the freedom there is on here, they should go to elevenplusexams forum where it is an offence to USE CAPITALS "BECAUSE THAT'S SHOUTING".

I was banned from that forum for "using shouty capitals and "making pointless remarks to a Moderator".

That was the best thing that ever happened to me, because I discovered MN, a forum for adults, where one can voice an opinion and not be censored, so , yes, I do think the OP was being VERY UNREASONABLE and would suggest he/she try the aforementioned forum.

It is very heavily censored and there are some sanctimonious, holier-than-thou hypocrites on there which may be more to that particular poster's liking.
