Generally don't like them, but ate one and then had to have another. And another. And then the rest. Except one I gave to DP.

Not really; the point is that children think Calpol tastes of strawberry creams because its sweet and pink and hence - unlike any other medicine - are happy to glug it down.

I would imagine for many minor ailments, if you're out of Calpol you could administer a strawberry cream instead, saying 'its a big calpol pill' and the placebo effect would render it efficacious.

I cannot think of any moment when there is chocolate in the house but not Calpol. Not that Calpol is always used up, more that the chocolate is...
