Monday is his 'day off'. he spends it watching shite on TV.

unfortunately I also have a day off today and he is driving me bonkers.

So I feel I must go and buy some nice food to make something for the rest of the weeks work lunchs -any ideas? I did risotto last week.

also i feel the need to pop to hobbycraft and do some knitting or patchwork or something crafty. More ideas?

And I shall spend money and it will all be DHs fault for beig boring and enjoying crap films with soldiers and helicopters in. git.

YANBU. I am very Envy though, DH doesn't get paid till tomorrow and we have no spare money for luxuries like wool, patchwork or food.
Obviously I've already budgeted for fags and gin.

I've only just discovered Hobbycraft - went for the first time yesterday. I don't even have any hobbies and I could have spent a fortune. So don't go crazy :o.

Plumm · 24/01/2011 09:32

If you go to Hobbycraft could you pick up some big wool for me? I've promised to make DH a scarf for next winter so should probably get started now!

i've given up wine (on week days) so feel i need a little treat.

lol kreecherlivesupstairs re the fags n gin!!

On a more sensible note, a bit of cross stitch from hobbeycraft always does the trick for me. They have small ones that you can make into little cards that are only £1 or so and you can get them done quite quicly. This is what my life has come too.

I mean this is what mt life has come to.

RedCloud · 24/01/2011 09:41

or even this is what my life has come to. (sleep deprived).

I do have to buy some wool to knit DD a sheep. She somehow managed to get a pile (15+) womens weekly from somewhere. One of the mags has a knitting pattern for a curly sheep in it. She has promised to be a good girl forever if I knit it for her.
It has been hysterical to see her reading a magazine aimed at women of 50+. She is 9.8 Grin
