why not?

Mssoul · 23/01/2011 14:09

I don't know, it offends me Grin Anyway, I have just said she can take them for the photo op at the top!

Depends how old she is. If over 18 up to her. 16-18 I might let her, under 16 no probably not. Women go traipsing round in their bras for breast cancer. Pyjamas are more decent and warmer. Presume it's for some reason. Lots of orienteers on arthurs seat today, many o suits look like pyjamas.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 23/01/2011 14:09

ahhh - you meanie Grin

I went up Arthurs Seat for the first time in 12 or so years last Summer. I used to go up their all the time when I was teenager, usually not on the "main routes"........I saw a teenager clambering up a really dangerous looking bit and was Shock.

Until my friend that I was with at the time pointed out that we used to do the exact same thing when we there age.

Never made it up there in my PJ's though.

iwasyoungonce · 23/01/2011 14:10

I'd let her. Pick your battles! Smile

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 23/01/2011 14:10

Confused - she's going to change into her PJ trousers at the top?? - it'll be a bit drafty Grin

well if you have let her take them you just know she put them on the second you were out of sight!

so a reasonable solution really, you said no, she gets to defy you! WIN WIN!!

cocoachannel · 23/01/2011 14:12

Sounds like harmless fun, or have I missed something...?

I think I'd pick my battles if I were you.

activate · 23/01/2011 14:13

I thought wearing pyjama trousers was the latest teenage fashion thang

ratspeaker · 23/01/2011 14:15

Be a bit nippy up there today, even if the frost has gone, though that would make it a wee bit muddy
Hope they're sticking to usual routes, have you seen the size of those boulders at the foot of Salisbury Crags?

Is there something special going on in the park today?

pointydug · 23/01/2011 14:15

you wer ebeing unreasonable. She's a teenager.

Mssoul · 23/01/2011 14:18

Hehehe - she's away with them in her bag. I expect they'll be on over her leggings as soon as she's round the corner Grin

And, yes I know I was being unreasonable. I just had a horror of her bumping into my boss or someone like that walking down the Royal Mile lol. Not that I really even care.
