Watching Comedy awards on Channel 4+1 and ludicrously pleased to see Horrible Histories beat the grown up shows.

I love love love Horrible Histories. DS is only 13mo but I put the CBBC channel on 'for him' when it's on.

He totally ignores it. I'm engrossed.

So YANBU.

the producer is a good friend of mine - and I love the program so very delighted here. The cast are superb imo. My absolute favourites are the Georges song and the viking "Literally" song. both so perfectly observed.

Apparently the adult version is the same sketches but with Stephen Fry doing slighlty more adult links. The rat not being grown up enough allegedly..

And I don't know any of this from cyber stalking following Ben Willbond on Twitter.

Love the Literally song, even though the DCs went around singing it tunelessly for days.

the parting shot, as they walk along the beach, is brilliant - makes me smile every time

The caveman "fitness workout" was brilliant.

As was the Boadicea song!

I also love the sketch where they're in the dance studio, talking to camera about how they did all the dances.

We are often to be found singing "Do the Patchacouti" in the aisles of our local supermarket.
