Watching Comedy awards on Channel 4+1 and ludicrously pleased to see Horrible Histories beat the grown up shows.

I love love love Horrible Histories. DS is only 13mo but I put the CBBC channel on 'for him' when it's on.

He totally ignores it. I'm engrossed.

So YANBU.

YANBU! It's great

GroovyGretel · 23/01/2011 00:09

Executioner: 'You'll be hung, drawn and quartered'.

Man: 'Gutted'!

Narrator: 'He will be...'

Another huge fan here too!

I've heard (and hoping it's true!) that they are going to do a version for adults with Stephen Fry?

the producer is a good friend of mine - and I love the program so very delighted here. The cast are superb imo. My absolute favourites are the Georges song and the viking "Literally" song. both so perfectly observed.

GroovyGretel · 23/01/2011 00:23

Apparently the adult version is the same sketches but with Stephen Fry doing slighlty more adult links. The rat not being grown up enough allegedly..

And I don't know any of this from cyber stalking following Ben Willbond on Twitter.

hatwoman · 23/01/2011 00:23

Pat- yes they are. I don;t think they;re doing any new filming - Stephen Fry is doing new links (replacing the rat)

GroovyGretel · 23/01/2011 00:24

slightly

DilysPrice · 23/01/2011 00:29

Love the Literally song, even though the DCs went around singing it tunelessly for days.

the parting shot, as they walk along the beach, is brilliant - makes me smile every time

PatPending · 23/01/2011 00:31

The caveman "fitness workout" was brilliant.

As was the Boadicea song!

hatwoman · 23/01/2011 00:32

I also love the sketch where they're in the dance studio, talking to camera about how they did all the dances.

GroovyGretel · 23/01/2011 00:58

We are often to be found singing "Do the Patchacouti" in the aisles of our local supermarket.

Not for money or anything.

so long as you're doing the dance as well
