dd aged 19 month just would not settle and was crying alot, so i walked out of the restraunt.

dp has been in a strop all night because of it, but i don't think other paying customers should have to hear a toddler crying

Not really fair on your husband though was it? How bad did it look for him?

LaurieFairyonthetreeEatsCake · 20/01/2011 21:43

Would he not leave?

If he wouldn't I would have left too.

Seona1973 · 20/01/2011 21:43

had you finished eating?

PinkIceQueen · 20/01/2011 21:45

Couldn't you both have left together?

If you took a screaming child out of a restaurant I applaud you. Wish more people would.

AuntiePickleBottom · 20/01/2011 21:47

i did not finish eating ,but dp was welcomed to stay with ds until they both finished.

i just hate to think that dd was runing other peoples dinner by her crying

Was it you that did this with a bus?

bubblewrapped · 20/01/2011 21:49

cant see what the joint account bit has to do with it.. lol!

And Op did what any reasonable person would do under the circumstances.. most restaurants would do a take out for any food you had left anyway.

I'm a bit confused. You were NBU at all to take your DD out, but did you not discuss it with your DP? Did he object at the time? Or did you literally just pick her up and go without saying a word?
