Hi all.
My little boy has been potty trained since 25 months now 30 months old. With the odd accident once or twice a week. Also dry at night. Been out of nappies at night for 4weeks. Last week i had a perfect run and thought it was finally cracked. but this week has gone from bad to worse. 1 accident mon, 2 tue and wed and 3 today. Also accident every evening. Where have i gone wrong. No change in routine. Help

Maybe he just has an upset tummy / mild bladder infection and it will settle back down in a couple of days.

Were the other accidents in the day or the night?

You haven't 'gone wrong'..he's still very young yet. All of mine regressed at some stage.

Is he drinking more than usual?

welshmumtobe · 21/01/2011 08:30

I'm not sure if he's drinking more than usual. I work 4 days a week and he is in a nursery. But he has been since he was 10 months.

Should i take him to the docs to get him checked for a water infection?

Accidents are in the day. still dry at night.

A cold could be all it takes, or they get so interested in something, they forget.

They need to keep reminding him to go.

He may have a bit of an infection, or he may just need to go more.I think sometimes they can go back before they go forward and this may be the case.
He has done verry well up to now, so just keep doing what you are doing with his routine and it should straighten itself out Grin
