I have had it with idiots tearing up and down the road outside our house with roaring exhausts/blasting radios etc. The knob over the road is the worst, he appears to drive up and down pointlessly all day in an extremely expensive 4x4 revving the hell out of it. I don't understand how he can afford the thing in the first place as he clearly does not work. All of this disturbs dc and I am sick of running up and down stairs to settle them. What the hell is wrong with people?

I think there is an offence "excessive noise from a vehicle" that covers exhausts and radios. Don't quote me; I used to be a Special, but that was a long time ago. Look it up, print it off and post it to him!

Make a report on your local non emergency police number. He can be issued with section 59 notice if he is causing alarm, distress or nuisance.

He obviously has a very small part of his anatomy and has S P Syndrome.

kitbitI have thought of worse! You are right it makes me feel a bit better.
I mentioned noise to the local police (while reporting unrelated vandalsim to our car)and they reckon they can just step up their patrol on this road. Needless to say there has been no improvement. I completely expect to get road noise but some drivers go out of their way to be a twat.
