Yes, today can definitely fuck right off. Unfortunately the DC have Other Plans (and have had since 6:00 this morning).

Dp just left for job interview and will be gone all day so I am awake with the babies. One who had me up every 2 hours last night so as soon as nap time comes around I WILL be joining them.

YANBU.

coffeecoffeecoffee · 18/01/2011 08:18

YABU. You should leap out of bed, go for a brisk morning jog then make your DC some wholemeal granola for breakfast whilst singing the JollyPhonics alphabet.

Or, like me, you could get a very large coffee and start growling at anyone who comes within 3 feet of you. Grin

mamadiva · 18/01/2011 08:20

The jealous streak in me says you are being bloody uinreasonable because I have to cope with today... but then the normal me says YANBU so bugger off and cosy down! :o

aPixieInMyCaramelLatte · 18/01/2011 08:20

Grin coffee.

I'm like that when I get hungry. Blush

BootyMum · 18/01/2011 08:21

Yes, I am shattered this morning! 21 month old awake in middle of night, then awake again at 6. DH at work. I want to go back to bed so bad!!!

SwearyMary · 18/01/2011 08:24

I would do that coffee but DD is 11yrs and left for school an hour ago and I don't know the jolly phonics song....

I have just been to get a large coffee, now back in bed with the iPad. I shall tell DH that I spent the whole day ironing so the lack of housework is catered for Wink

If anyone dares knock my door, prepare to face my wrath!!

yy I only had 5 hours broken sleep and will be spending the day with two DC under 3. No reason to begrudge anyone else a lazy day though.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 18/01/2011 08:48

Bloody right on, SwearyMary. Dh has kindly given me his cold (well, he says it is flue ebola), and I slept badly, so am planning a lazy day in my dressing gown. I am going to spend it on the couch rather than in bed, and I hope that doesn't violate the terms of a fuck-off-tuesday.

SwearyMary · 18/01/2011 08:55

TennantsGirl, the couch is fine. Its the fuck off attitude that counts Wink
Welcome to fuck right off Tuesday. Feel better soon. As for DH and his flu ebola....grrrr to people that germ share.

LOL YES!!
I have washing up, washing, clean the car, paperwprk, phone calls to make, tons more, i don't want to..groan..boring task day!

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 18/01/2011 09:11

He's gone off to work today to spread the joy germs! On the one hand, I know this is a bad thing (and I did tell him so) but on the other hand, if he was off too, he'd be under my feet, moaning at my choice of crap tv to watch, and telling me how much iller than me he is!

GlynistheMenace · 18/01/2011 09:51

*enters thread and glowers in slow motion, in manner of molodo dragon

yup, Tuesday can fuck right off into next week!

I'll have a coffee please and shift over on that sofa, the sun is streaming through the window and hurts my eyes if I stay in this chair.

The frigging sun HAS NO RIGHT to be out and making everything so bright and cheerful when I just want to curl up and hibernate.

grrr indeed

I've dropped the kids to school and walked the dogs, just stopping for rady brek and then out to womans group
then pick up gecko back for lunch for both of us and then to shred (see if I can get past the first circuit Blush)

but I woud love to tell tuesdayto fuck off

Poledra · 18/01/2011 10:05

YABU. Only because I cannot tell Tuesday to fuck right off. I have to work (but did have a little daydream about calling in sick, having a sleep, finishing organising the DCs' birthday parties and generally having a day to myself in the house).

WickedWitchSouthWest · 18/01/2011 10:06

I just want everythIng to fuck the fuck off until I've had more than 3 hours sleep grrrr

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 18/01/2011 10:19

My washing machine has broken, so I can't even do any washing (oh dear, how sad, what a pity, never mind Grin).

Maryz - you absolutely MUST eat that chocolate santa - do you not know how quickly christmas chocolate can become toxic, especially when left in the vicinity of musical instruments? By eating it you will be saving your dd from all sorts of illnesses!! Grin

SwearyMary · 18/01/2011 11:30

Maryz, please tell us that Santa is no more, DD won't miss it. I know from experience Wink
