In being annoyed at how hard it is to send money overseas

Trying to send money into a niece's account overseas as a gift.You'd think internet banking would make that possible bit nooooo. I cant seem to figure out how to do it. the bank charges more than the amount I want to put into her account!

Western Union or Paypal are the easiest and cheapest ways to transfer small amounts.

Is western union ok? Does it go straight to their bank or do they need to pick up at a store? My niece is under 18.
