give them a ring and ask them to clarify the reason. it may not be anything to do with that. or they might be able to givce you it if you can provide bank statements.

If I was you I wouldnt bother, Ive been with them for about 15 years and only ever order stuff if im really desperate, usually big stuff like frige/freezer or the last thing was a cooker, maybe the odd game for kids,

You do pay well over the top, ive always paid well on time but was 2 days late with my payment first week in Jan so got charged an extra 12 quid, and recieved a letter about default payments and it affecting my credit history.

I received an unsolicited catalogue through my door recently, had a flick through and was at the prices charged for things that you could by on the highstreet for literally half the price.

It shouldnt be poor credit rating they lend to anyone that's how they make their money (or don't).

Try very it's the same company but very is often cheaper for same items. Very had the cheapest uggs in the uk last season. There may not be a catalogue at the moment- they don't come out very often as they are moving to web based sales.

You are not missing anything, i was with Littelwoods years ago. I never missed a payment for the whole time i was with them and managed to build up my credit limit to over £1000 Which took a few years.

When my cooker packed up i went to order another and they refused the order as i didn't have enough credit!!!

It transpired that they decided to wipe out my exsisting credit and give me a new total of £100 without any explanation at all.

I never used them after that and closed my account.

I ordered one item years ago via Littlewoods - because I'd got a huge discount code and it made the item cheaper there than the high street.

Now they constantly bombard me with emails/junk mail and catalogues and despite repeated 'go away' messages/letters they still send them. Got a new one last week - it came out of the plastic and into the recycling bin!!
