They're a great bunch but when will I learn?

Please join me with your work-do stories so I can feel better about myself. Ta

We've all done it. Don't beat yourself up over it. It WILL be forgotten. How drunk was everybody else?

kingazanzi · 15/01/2011 01:21

Thanks Lyra. Everyone drinking/tipsy but I did NOT shut up the whole night. Also all the hugging...grrrrrrr what the hell was that all about?

Yeah, I've done that Blush
But everyone else will have been drinking, they won't have been judging your behaviour. I know that's hard to believe the morning after when you're thinking 'groan, what did I do, what did I say'.
Probably everyone else will be thinking the same thing about themselves.

tomhardyismydh · 15/01/2011 01:36

you would not have been the only drunk tippsy hugging, giggling slightly shouty type out tonight so not to worry.

you had a good night so who gives a shit that you where happy and didnt worry about showing it. Grin

MrsYamada · 15/01/2011 01:36

Everyone does it, they probably loved you!

Mspontipine · 15/01/2011 01:50

Ooh been sick on my shoes in front of the young office IT chap and all sorts don't worry :)

browneyesblue · 15/01/2011 01:54

Crikey - if we all worried about that, nobody would ever go out for work drinks!

Maybe I've worked at places that are especially huggy/talky, but I think it's more likely that it happens all the time.

Just remember, everyone probably drank a similar amount, and if anything they are all worried that they over-talked too.

greenbananas · 15/01/2011 02:03

I was a temp. for many years and always laughed about the stories I heard about work gatherings. For a few weeks, people laughed affectionatley about those who were more than usually tipsy. Sometimes being ridiculously drunk was a badge of honour. In most cases, it usually got forgotten fairly soon.

Sleep well! Smile
