DP's was in America from saturday until last night. I've been alone with my 3DC's who have for the most part, been delightful.

But, I got arsey (not with anyone but I am defo miserble as sin) yesterday. I haven't loaded the dishwasher for 48 hours, dinner isn't going to cook itself, the children are OD'ing on CBBC and CBeebies and I'm typing this with no intention of sorting any of the above.

And as for 'yay, it's friday', this miserable cow couldn't give two hoots.

Why am I being such a misery?
Is it ok for me to be a miserable cow?

Come and shout out me, or tell me jokes or something to snap me out of it.

And no Biscuit's unless they're jammy dodgers, no one wants a Fox's jam sandwich phoney biscuit when only a jammy dodger will do!

Poor you....YANBU. Can DP have the dc's while you have a nice bath with bubbles and candles and chocolate, if that's your thing?

It's feckin' January that's why

I have just recovered from a virus and felt so dispirited that it took me 7 days to write an email

I've done it now though and have some energy back but I'm nto intending to set myself too many goals.

Don't beat yourself up, get some chips from the chippy, drink a glass of wine and mumsnet - you don't have to load the dishwasher, it will still be there tomorrow.
