To ask for advice re Basques and corsets please?

Hi my partner and I live a long way away from each other and we are soon meeting in a hotel for a dirty weekend long awaited chinwag.

He is in the forces and has been away so it's a bit special and I want to surprise him and buy a really nice basque or corset

Please can you recommend a good website? Figleaves is great but pricey and Ann Summers a little tacky I am a size 8-10 but have a 36DD bust.

Agree with the others, I don't think 36DD is right if you are size 8-10, would guess at something like 32F . Can you get to Bravissimo? They are spot on with fitting correctly, and have a couple of basques.

I do know a lot about bras! (and chocolates,and scent so all the basic covered!)

If you can afford it check out Vollers. Sadly £££ but the very best IMHO.

Another vote for Vollers, Snobs or Pigalle corsets.

I wear one most of the week so I know which ones will do the job ;)

What Katie Did - vintage style and deeply deeply darkly sexy. Gorgeous waspies with suspenders and proper stockings, and great bras for bigger bust (I'm 32E when not BFing). Your partner will think he's died and gone to heaven when he sees you...

Vollers - hand made un Portsmouth for over 100 years. Brought my first one to go under my wedding dress - knew it would fit whatever & improved my posture. Now own three of theirs in different colours. Not cheap but amazingly comfortable as the proper boning is stiff enough not to dig in. Wonderful curves created.

If you want to go for a more Joan from Mad Men look then agree that What Katy Did are great.
