I'll breastfeed where I bloody well want when my baby is hungry!

Following on from another thread that got the old cogs whirring, I am always saddened by the fact that some people have a problem with women breastfeeding in public and expect bf mums to 'hide away' because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

I will always bf my baby where-ever and whenever she wants a feed and if someone doesn't like the fact that I am giving her amazing milk with amazing benefits they can do one!

Why do some posters react so aggressively to a woman saying in a toungue and cheek way that she will breastfeed her baby as an when she wants? Is it because you feel she is challenging your choices by being proud of her own? If it is because you are bored of breastfeeding threads then why bother to click on it and get embroiled in a thread you find boring? The mind boggles!

toddlerwrangler · 14/01/2011 09:13

Telling people to 'do one' is NOT tongue in cheeck though, is it. Neiter are the agressive and patronising responce when anyone has dared challenege OP.

I am as pro BF as I am forumla. I am not supportive of ANYONE ramming thier views, or rights, down other peoples necks. This only serves to furter marginalise the group in question, and undoes the bloody hard work of others.

GwynAndBearIt · 14/01/2011 09:17

Red it's not really about the subject matter here, - MsKlo is in the habit of starting threads 'to get the cogs whirring' as she has put it herself, pokes at it a bit to get peoples backs up, throws in a 'hormonal' comment here and there and a 'fuck of you twats', 'you silly women', and usually a 'sanctimonious' will be in there somewhere too.

MsKlo, Idle curiosity gets me looking Grin .

Genuinely though I do wonder why you do it ? I have noticed your threads because they do often take the same course, and when the heckles are up, which is what you've intended, you do enjoy it with all your come backs and insults.

Serious question, is it because you are bored and fancy a ruck?

OP why are you calling toddler a twat for having a different opinion to you? Hmm

Why do you find it funny that people have a different opinion to you?

MsKLo · 14/01/2011 10:43

I am not at all bothered that people have a different opinion from me! I just find it curious that they are on here moaning about how boring the subject is and screeching and ranting! It is funny and they can think ans do what they like it has no effect on me but to amuse me!

I called her a twat because only a twat would keep comig back to a thread she finds so boring!

You are almost dead right. "Almost" because I once saw a woman breastfeeding while driving (honest, I am not making this up) and I think she was putting the baby and herself and everyone around her at risk. However loudly the baby was demanding to be fed she should have waited till she could stop the car. I take it (as a father of one and him bottle-fed I do not know, but it seems obvious) that if mother is caring for the urgent needs of an older child when the Voice of Demand is raised the baby has to wait?
