not just a sofdding trim.

I have gone from halfway down my back in a windswept hippy kind of way to a neat bob

Confused Hmm and Angry

Git. if i took off my clothes and painted my genitals neon pink he wouldn't bloody notice.

I am feeling unwanted and unloved now.

YANBU but my DH never notices either, I think it's quite a common thing. Sometimes I tell him I'm going or I've been and he still isn't interested!

I'm sure it looks lovely though Smile

mayorquimby · 13/01/2011 17:14

yabu
I'd never notice.

FancyALittle · 13/01/2011 17:27

I know someone who used to put his wife's haircuts into his diary so he could pretend to notice she'd had it done.

Backfired when he told her how lovely her haircut was when the appointment had been cancelled Grin

ashamedandconfused · 13/01/2011 17:30

I sympathise Op - the children will say, oooh, I like your hair mummy, or, is that a new top - DH? I think he has his eyes shut most of the time!

pjmama · 13/01/2011 17:32

Mine wouldn't notice if I shaved my head, polished it and served his dinner stark naked with a rose sticking out of my arse! You are not alone. Wink

TattyDevine · 13/01/2011 17:34

You can't have it both ways. If you want to be able to say "what this, I've had it for ages" when you spend £200 on something clothing wise, you can't have him have an eye for detail...

TheLogLady · 13/01/2011 17:46

in fact he's being a miserable git generally this evening. he's pissed off with impossible DD2 but does fuck all to improve things. git.

Agree with Tatty. I would like my DH not to notice, as he would only ask how much it cost.

AgentZigzag · 13/01/2011 17:51

I prime my DH before I go and get mine cut, then I'm not disappointed and he's not in my tongue in cheek bad books.

I would have noticed, but not everyone does.

What's going on with your DD2 then?

SweetKate · 13/01/2011 17:53

My DH has the kids while I go to the hairdressers and he still doesn't comment when I get back. I have to ask what he thinks!!!

TheLogLady · 13/01/2011 17:54

oh the usual vile temper and impossible to live with.

i do have a nice new haircut though so think i will cheer myself up by gazing at myself in a mirror Grin

My DH NEVER notices... I too could be totally bald, stark naked and painted purple and he'd probably just tell me about his day...

but... he shaved off his beard and I didn't notice for 3 days Grin once. That didn't go down too well either....!
