I know, I know, a thread about a thread. But IABUs which go round and round and round and round and OP never listens to a word just stubbornly repeats first post in variety of ways....

Ignore me.

If you don't like, simply ignore
Some posters might want to put you out too! We are all different, MN wouldn't be the same without all these different opinions! Lol

I think you miss my point, its more when a thread just won't die by itself....totters on going round and round....it is a particular phenomenon ...doesn't end at natural death moment. Bt no resolution achieved.

I think my powerful brain can grasp the concept of not looking....

Hiding the whole AIBU topic is even more freeing [wnk] Grin

thumbdabwitch · 13/01/2011 14:32

YANBU. It's wearisome to see a thread go over the same arguments over and over, whenever a new poster joins in who hasn't read the whole thread and just replies to the OP, missing the entire discussion and frequently the apology/backtrack/acknowledgement of unreasonability by the OP, so they pile in and start the whole cycle off again.

tomhardyismydh · 13/01/2011 14:40

i think the wetherspoons thred you are talking about is being kept alive by some posters and the op for that very reason It may have died I was the last person to post, te he I hope I have just killed it Grin.

Hullygully · 13/01/2011 14:41

Quel thread?

RustyBear · 13/01/2011 14:44

You need this

Tell me which thread it is and I will go kill it...

donkeyderby · 13/01/2011 14:44

thumbda - exactly right. Often nothing to do with the OP, just people piling in like a rugby scrum

tethersend · 13/01/2011 14:46

We need a mass derailment offensive. Link to thread and let the inanity commence...
