To think the bank should talk to me?

I've very recently been made redundant. I received a redundancy payment and I duely lodged it into our joint bank account. The clerk who took the cheque asked if I was going to invest it and I said that I wasn't sure what I was doing but it was one of my considerations. We left it at that. Now, two wesks later my DH is being bombarded with phone calls and letters from the bank about the money. Nowhere in any of these calls or letters do they mention me. AIBU to think that as the cheque was in my name and I lodged it to our joint account I should at least get a mention??? (Small worries, I know)

Keep it and tell them to fuck off, as if you can't get another job and the £ eventually runs out and neither of you have an income they will smack your fingers and shit on you from a great height.

Be very frugal with it now, the job market is shite.

Speaks from bitter experience.
