I'll get flamed by those who called the Christian religion mumbo jumbo, lies, or whatever other phrase etc?

If you don't understand it and want to then read the bible/koran and learn about the culture of the time to understand it more. I doubt anyone who makes negative comments about religion has ever read a religious book from cover to cover if at all!

I think it's certainly true that people think it's okay to rubbish Christianity but not other religions

I agree. Though people will bend over backwards denying it, some are PC when it comes to "other" religions, but take the piss out of Christianity. It could be argued this is a form of stereotyping and prejudice itself, ie the belief Muslims are lying in wait to be offended left right and centre, so people have to defend them to avoid causing offence IYSWIM. Not everyone of course, but some people are like this

I haven't read the bible 'cover to cover' especially not the old testament but have read enough and did enough in RI at school to be able to call myself an Atheist.

BTW,it was one subject i did get an 'A' in
I also agree that many people seem to think it's ok to rubbish Christianity but wouldn't do it with other religions for fear of being called racist.
Even though Christianity/Islam/Hinduism/etc are religions and not races.
