I am not from britain and have been here a few year. I constantly get asked ..."are any of your family over there?" (australia)

Why? My parents are Irish and all their immediate family are over here...or are you talking aboubt extended family?

Not really. Some people move over with their families.

It sounds like polite conversation. ANd yes, I get asked it constantly it doesn't bother me. Pull the bug out.
