bubbleOseven · 12/01/2011 15:28

yabu go back to the original thread and make your point there instead of coming crying over here.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 12/01/2011 15:29

leave now LadyT, you're only going to get more juvenile playground abuse like this if you stay. mumsnet is not the place to come if you're looking for support...try another site.

bubbleOseven · 12/01/2011 15:34

no, stay on this site, but argue your case on the LP section.

mayorquimby · 12/01/2011 15:35

why would this thread be any different?

mincenmash · 12/01/2011 15:36

I've had a quick read. I think it would depend on your financial circumstances. You said you were not entitled to any help with childcare costs so you must be over the threshold in earnings for that. You must claim some kind of other benefits (housing/council tax etc) or tax credits for being a single parent? You should at the very least get the child element of tax credit which would help towards childcare costs.

Takeresponsibility · 12/01/2011 15:41

I've posted on the other thread.

GwynAndBearIt · 12/01/2011 15:42

that's a better suggestion, bubble

LadyT - I am not in your position but would have thought you'd have got more of a 50/50 lot of responses on the subject, - however you do have to factor in that those who disagree with you are more likely to respond, than those who agree Wink.

LadyTremaine · 12/01/2011 15:46

ha ha i guess so. i came over here because my question is - am i being unreasonable to be shocked to have had so many people have the opposite opinion to me on this subject...? where as my question on LP was.. well, the subject itself..
