She has become very famous. But I dont think that is what she was after.

My wife likes the countryfile programme;
not robust enough for me.

The BBC have a difficult job with staff;but this TV woman thought she had bween removed on grounds of age. (and she is not old.)

I fully expect her to turn up in another BBC TV programme

Absolutely... I can't understand why Countryfile thought that an aging presenter would ever be a problem anyway? She wasn't presenting on MTV for goodness sakes.

I hope the rest of the ladies affected take their place in Court now that the precedent has been set... and if I were the Judge, I'd make the controller personally liable for his stupid decision. Was that the 'Yentob' bloke?

Think it was Yentob. He was on news last night.

Good on her, look at all the old men on tv!

GooseFatRoasties · 12/01/2011 14:29

I am glad she won. It seems like you can only be a woman on TV if you are young and pretty.
