I think it's challenging, but isn't it much more reasonable to become offended by mysogyny in the Real World? Where women are oppressed on a daily basis?
The artist in question is NOT using this film to say "Hey, this is what we should do to women". It tells the story of a depraved killer. The use of sexual imagery to titilate the viewer is annoying and predictable rather than offensive, I find.
Stop picking the easy victims and wave your banners at countries, governments and social conventions which continue to abuse and oppress women in the REAL WORLD... or is that too difficult for you?
