YANBU - can you tackle him without dropping daughter in the poop?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 12/01/2011 10:36

YANBU obviously. The mother of a friend of DD was telling me about her charming ex. He does that sort of thing, but makes up totally outrageous lies to cover them up.

NewTeacher · 12/01/2011 10:41

why does ex DH have to pick you up from the airport?

Takeresponsibility · 12/01/2011 10:49

That's why he's an EX surely?

gorionine · 12/01/2011 10:51

It does not matter why surely NewTeacher if it was arranged for him to pick them up?

Yanbu Cinders how did your Dd find out it was not the truth?

bubbleOseven · 12/01/2011 10:56

Hmm YANBU to expect someone to do as they said they would do, I am surprised however that you asked your ex to pick you up at the airport. Like another poster said, behaviour like that is probably why he's your ex anyway.

Do you not drive?

gorionine · 12/01/2011 11:01

I think there is a strong ossibility (But I might be wrong) that He was picking them from the airport (supposidly) because OP and ex live in different countries rather than him doing her the favour of picking her up after a holiday abroad IYSWIM.
