Actually way out Oxford way - but I grew up in the villages if you want advice? Most of them have good primaries.

If we were staying we were going to move to Burwell to move into cambridge schools catchement

We're not looking anywhere specific at the mo, just really drawn a line round the area - as far north as Ely, as far east as This side of Bury St Edmunds, as far west as Quy and as far south as this side of Haverhill. I work in town at the mo so it's got to be commutable! No DCs as yet - still ttc #1 so a bit of a wait before thinking of schools!!!!

ah fair enough. I was worrying about schools as we moved into the worst catchment in town!

basic rule is the further west the more farming and rural, cambs side gets more commuter and less social. Have fun looking!

When I was a student we used to drink in the lounge bar of The Cock pub - to get there you needed to go round the back and up the stairs, so drinking arrangements were made to meet "up the bum" at a certain time Grin
