Ds was off sick the week before Christmas so I had to take leave from work. Then I got sick and just had the first week back off sick. Now my cm has let us know she has chicken pox so I have to ask for another week off (as annual leave). I have no problem with using the annual leave but they are not going to be impressed with me .

Oh, you poor thing. Do you have any family/friends nearby who could help out?

FabbyChic · 10/01/2011 14:05

Sorry the new year has not got off to a good start for you, hope your employers take it easy on you.

No. I have a husband but it does fall to me to take time off due to the nature of his work. Hopefully he could do a day.
Now all I need is either ds or me to get chicken pox nervous laugh

Oh what a mare k12mom. I know it is often pricy but is it worth you contacting one of the emergency childcare sites to try and get cover for the duration of your cm's absence, or can your cm recommend someone for whilst she is off. I appreciate it may be a killer on the budget but it could help with your perception at work??

saturdaynightpants · 10/01/2011 14:07

Oh I might try that! Thanks
