Am I being unreasonable to feel frustrated? I stayed at home when my children were born and was a SAHM until they went to school- now my husband has an exciting well-paid job, and I am struggling to balance a low-paid part-time job with all the after-school childcare and housework...I have lost so much earning power through my years at home, plus confidence etc and don't know how I will ever get a better job- I am intelligent and once had great ambitions - I love my children dearly and don't regret spending time at home with them- just don't know how to get out of the exhuasting rut that I am in!! also know that my situation is not unique, lots of others are in the same situation, but helps to let off steam1
