Well I unwittingly purchased a bra off e bay, I thought it was new initially, and when it arrived today it was in excellent condition and looked like a new bra, and is a fantastic fit. I left positive feedback, and read the listing more carefully and discovered it was used Shock. Should hae read it more carefully, teach me next time. I am wearing it as it is so comfy and supporsts well, AIBU for wearing a used bra. It did initially leave a kind of Envy type feeling, but as its so comfy and was like new I have got used to it.

Well, assuming it's been washed and nothing is "living" in it then YANBU.
If OTOH it was minging the you would BU.

Maybe it was bought, put in a drawer and never worn? Hence the new look?

PatPending · 06/01/2011 19:45

X-post!

Memoo · 06/01/2011 19:46

Its probably just been tried on. I guess the bras we buy from the shops may have been tried on by others and then not washed!

pigletmania · 06/01/2011 19:46

Yes i would have noticed it looking nasty and minging, and would have binned it. Mabey it was used a few times and shoved in a draw.

Really i could have sworn it was new when i recieved it, not out of shape, crisp looking, not de coloured (it is cream), and smelt fine, like new.

YANBU. I'm a 32H and tbh it's hard to find bras to fit, so I buy them when and where I can. I buy regularly on Ebay, give them a boil wash (bras my size are made from steel) and hey presto! after about 3-4 months I put them back on Ebay and they always, always sell.

I wouldn't do it with other smalls like tights or knickers though. I think that's a bit weird Confused

Memoo · 06/01/2011 19:49

I've sold a few bras on ebay that I've bought online. They haven't fitted but I've forgot to send them back in time. Would still list as 'used' though because they aren't brand new.

pigletmania · 06/01/2011 19:50

I am a 32G LOTM, and this was one of the best fitting bras ever, I got myself measured in Bravissimo beforehand, then scoured e bay for the brands they stock. OH ewwww not i would not wear secondhand knickers or tights, but bras well they are not likely to have fanjo juice or skid marks on them Grin

pigletmania · 06/01/2011 19:54

Sellers are not allowed to sell used underwear that includes Bra's on eBay, any listing for a used bra is reportable.

pigletmania · 06/01/2011 19:58

oh I did not know that, the seller was honest, I just did not bother to read the listing properly.

pigletmania · 06/01/2011 19:59

I will put it in the wash again.

I got some from Freecycle once. The lady had bought 4, tried one on and decided she didn't like them. They were perfect for me and I was very happy, so I think there is nothing wrong with it.

BettyCash · 06/01/2011 20:04

'fanjo juice' always makes me Grin
