To have dropped two hours a week as childcare let me down

Starting this week my dd has no childcare and I earn £6ph,for me to get cover at short notice it will cost me £23.

I have apologised and advised boss I will have to do for three months a 4 day week,or leave, she has been ok and said she would send new contract.

I feel really bad as she said we can review again in May when we get finicial help, and I said I would go back to my normal 10 hours instead of 8 I feel so bad maybe I should quit aibu?.

If your boss is fine with it then I wouldn't worry

Your boss is ok with it, so whats the problem? A different solution may come up in the next couple of weeks and then you can change back.
