I am unsure to whether this has been done before but here goes mine...

  1. I had a near death experience
  1. I saw a UFO fly over my house
  1. I am a Muslim

OP posts:
clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 20:16

i am not worthy, but here i go anyway...

  1. my grandfather won the golf open the same year as fred perry one the tennis,he had the same sir name and was asked to go in with fp on a clothing range...to this he said "fuck off and leave me alone" (bastard,i could have been rich!)
  1. my nan aged 3 and her 7 siblings were taken into care because her parents were 'tramps' and neglected them, the youngest aged 1 died the same day (they went on to have another 14 children.

3.i hung out with pete doherty, karl barratt, and kate moss on a tour bus for a few days instead of going to my first day at uniBlush (twas an odd couple of days i can tell you)

morsbagmum · 06/01/2011 20:19

I only ever dream in black and white.

I have webbed toes on both feet, so does my DD and my mum.

I was on the 4th Plinth in Trafalgar Square despite being scared of heights.

Partyof52010 · 06/01/2011 20:34

I want another go....
1.My Grandma was on the Commonwealth diving team. So was her brother, who won a medal. (This fact highly amuses DD as my Grandma is now over 90 and very frail)

  1. I have never met any of my Dad's family. He is from Bermuda and now, in Bermuda and Australia I have grandparents, 8 sets of Aunties and Uncles, and 32 cousins.
  1. I blame myself for DD being disabled, despite the Dr's telling me that it wasn't my fault.
ReshapeWhileDamp · 06/01/2011 20:34

I have three nipples (only two of them lactate!).

I danced with Jim Carter when I was 10.

I like slashfic.

cushionyet · 06/01/2011 20:35
  1. The Queen sang Happy Birthday to me on my fifth birthday. I was painfully shy and my mum was terrified that I was going to cry!

  2. For years I wanted to train to be a doctor and know I could have done it, but I feel that I was badly let down by numerous crap and unenthusiastic science teachers who dismissed my dreams. It's too late now and I will never stop feeling slightly bitter!

3)My auntie was murdered ten years before I was born and I still know very little about what happened. Nobody will talk about it at all, and despite trying to research it online to get more details, I cannot find a thing. I don't think I'll ever find out.

mizu · 06/01/2011 20:37

I have kissed Morrissey - many moons ago, threw myself at him at a concert.

I was the English voiceover for the Toyota showroom in Tokyo, Japan 10 years ago.

I have been trying to learn Arabic for years and am still crap at it Grin

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 06/01/2011 20:48

My great great grandfather was a clown and challenged the strong man to a fight for the hand of a lady. He lost, left the circus in disgrace and went on to be a successful businessman.

My synesthesia means that if anyone scrapes cutlery on a plate I get a very strong acidic taste that makes me really nauseous. I also can't touch metal cutlery that has a patterned handle as it makes me cringe.

I love to dance and sing (although my voice is rather... Unimpressive) and spend a lot of time doing just that when I'm on my own. I sometimes narrate what I'm doing at the same time (either talking or in song, but if in song it has to rhyme)

I'm a little odd.

froggers1 · 06/01/2011 21:01

I am a direct descendant of MacDuff who killed Macbeth

My first kiss with my now DH was on the bridge over the river Kwai

My great grandfather played football for Ireland

StationaryPawn · 06/01/2011 21:04

I have an episiotomy scar that goes all the way across my bum cheek (don't regret it though - they had to get DS out quick) - the doc didn't sew it up quite straight and i have a flesh bubble at the end of it...

I fell in love with Dh aged 11 and we started going out aged 16. Been together over 20 years and he is the only man i have ever slept with.

My children think i am a witch and ride my broomstick every night over the village when they have gone to bed....i am saying nothing Wink

LizzyA · 06/01/2011 21:09

My DH is 6 inches shorter than me.

I had a meeting with 2 members of parliament on
Wednesday morning.

I had a home birth which lasted less than an hour from first contraction to birth.

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 21:10

youknowstuffing i cannot believe there is someone else on the planet that cant touch patterned cutlery...im weirdly exited by this...i also cannot eat with miss matched cutlery.

and i go over conversations in my head over and over, including ones that have never/will never happen...Hmm

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 21:11

ooh ooh,my last labour only lasted an hour!

i'll stop now...promiseBlush

ManateeEquineOhara · 06/01/2011 21:12

When I was 18 I lived in a house with just myself and a 12 year old runaway.

I am officially a widow.

I got first class honours :D

smallblackflowers · 06/01/2011 21:19

I have only one wisdom tooth and am missing an incisor (that never grew) on the same side of my mouth - perhaps I got the wisdom tooth as a replacement.

I once accidentally had a picnic on a minefield.

I was held up at gunpoint and was never asked by the police to give a statement.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/01/2011 21:21

Mizu I am so jealous of your Morrissey fact!

kittycat37 · 06/01/2011 21:22

I was on the front page of a tabloid in an 'expose' with someone famous - only thing was the 'expose' was complete and utter rubbish and nearly ended my RL relationship.

It was funny and horrible in equal measure.

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 06/01/2011 21:22

Clumsymum :o we're not alone!

Dh thinks it's hilarious when I put out all the nice cutlery for everyone else and try to get the cheap plastic handled ones for myself.

My dad still thinks I'm making it up and always puts patterned cutlery in front of me to "prove I won't really notice it". Funnily enough I always do the second I touch them. I with they could understand that it's actually a very horrible physical sensation! The only way I can hold it is to pinch the metal very hard between two fingers so I can't get the sensation.

Oh dear oh dear.

OneLieIn · 06/01/2011 21:37

Ok....

I have an older brother my mum had adopted. Would love to meet him

I think about sex all the time and regularly crotch watch!

Finally and one that is worst, I have an amazgly stinky belly button and am paranoid about it!

perpetuallypregnant · 06/01/2011 21:41

I have slept with a premiership footballer (pre dh)

I was once wolf whistled at and propositioned by the chuckle brothers

I had a boob job 10 years ago

The first 2 facts may be connected to the last :)

kittycat37 · 06/01/2011 21:49

The Chuckle brothers?????

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

That's brilliant.

UntitledNo2 · 06/01/2011 21:55

This is highly addictive!

Okay, I am a total aircraft geek and frequently park by my local airport to watch airplanes taking off and landing.

When I was a child, I had an imaginary twin sister (read faaaar too much SVH, methinks).

When I was 22, I applied to be a Suicide Girl, and was accepted - but never had the balls to go through with it.

Oh, I so love this thread!

MyBrainIsOutOfTune · 06/01/2011 21:55

One more timeGrin

  • I have large birthmarks where the skin is completely white

  • DH is distantly related to the Royal Family

  • I share my (somewhat rare) surname with a moderately well-known 19th century writer. Every time I show my student ID at Uni they ask me if I'm related. I'm not.

janpa · 06/01/2011 22:03

1 I once invited Gazza round for a cuppa
2 Since having DD, I can wee upwards
3 I've got Grade 8 in theory of music.

mumtoted · 06/01/2011 22:11

I can do the splits.

I can't bear anyone saying the word pamphlet.

I was born at home, so was my husband, as were our 2 children.

jugglingjo · 06/01/2011 22:14

Those premiership footballers get around a bit don't they? Wink
