I'm with you on that one! I mentioned to my (quite young female GP) about needing to book a smear test, and she told me that she would do a breast check at the same time. I STILL haven't made the appointment!

Why having my boobs manhandled seems worse than having my fanjo prodded I don't know. But the idea of it makes me shudder!

Do GP's actaully do boob checks?! I've never had one.

I hate geting my top off even more than i hate getting my pants off. The reason being, with a smear I can't see what they're doing, you get a sheet. But with boobs, you can see EVERYTHING they do. I hate it.

I had to go for a mammogram in December
Getting old.
Now have to go for another as the machine was apparently not working properly.
They pull and push your norks then flatten them with the machine.
It's really weird having another woman mauling your boobs.

It is weird - at first. And I suggest that you enjoy the knowledge that it's such an unusual experience as to be weird.

I pray that you ladies never experience it so many times that, like me, you no longer bat an eyelid when someone else, man or woman, squeezes your boobs onto a machine or prods and pokes them.

Far better to go for a check-up and get it over with than the alternative, trust me. If I hadn't followed up the lump I found I wouldn't be here to warn you.

Now I don't care if the entire England rugby team join my consultant to view my tits, as long as I'm healthy. :)
