to think i must have ishoos with food or something

dd aged 11 had a friend round recently. she ahs had this friend round before so i know she is fussy.
i checked she liked fish fingers

she did not touch her mash or peas though.

i think surely at this age you are old enough to at least try certain foods.

and anotehr of dd's friends, invites her round for several hours, eats her lunch while my dd sits and looks!
how odd are her parents !

or is it me

Well, luckily it's not your job to coax the no-veg child into a balanced diet. I'd say don't sweat it! In a similar vein, how about giving DD a packed lunch to take on visits to the floor-eating girl?

I agree 11 is old enough to eat what you're given off a table, even if only to be polite.

But I remember when I was 11 a friend who, when invited over by friends, would only eat Walker's cheese and onion crisps. I always wonder whether she still has such ishooos...
