Not had the pleasure of watching this dire programme before, i caught the end of it while tidying up after new years day family thing.

What the sort of sexist shit is this, then presenter guy , some supposbly ' funny' idiot actually said, as they introduced a vile man ' let the sausage see the roll' and then all the women were cheering.

How is this shit on tv?

Nothing chavvy about a northern accent.

BrainlessSlag · 02/01/2011 21:29

I fancy a bit of lugeing right now. Channel4 has gone all intellectual.

claig · 02/01/2011 21:31

Channel 4 has got Alan Carr Chatty Man coming up soon, so the intellectual phase will be short-lived.

claig · 02/01/2011 21:32

Channel 4 are probably in a race to the bottom with ITV.

BrainlessSlag · 02/01/2011 21:32

Now his voice makes me come over all peculiar. And not in a good way.

I find it offensive that you refer to BrainlessSlag as bullshit.

FellatioNelson · 02/01/2011 21:38

I too was disgusted the first time I saw it. I sat there like this Shock Hmm

But then, I'm very suspicious of anything that's not on BB1 or BBC2 as a rule.

But I must admit, after a few watches (my son loves it) it is strangely enjoyable - and 'no likey no lighty' is a genuis catchphrase.

Plus, it's a good way to laugh at fake tans and false eyelashes and shocking frocks, without having to leave the house. And that can only be a good thing.

I'm very suspicious of anything that's not on the Shopping Channel as a rule.

JoBettany · 02/01/2011 21:42

I wasn't allowed to watch ITV as a child.

There were many like you, JoBettany. Sadly, standards have declined.

JoBettany · 02/01/2011 21:46

Mother will be pleased claig Grin

claig · 02/01/2011 21:48

She is the salt of the earth and deserves an OBE for maintaining standards against all the odds and sods.

JoBettany · 02/01/2011 21:51

Yes, absolutely. I was gutted about missing Tiswas though.

BrainlessSlag · 02/01/2011 21:52

Anyway- back to the OP.

Who's dissing The Custard?

natknickersinatwist · 02/01/2011 21:54

excellent..

FGS.. its a TV prog.. mindless slags or not it brings more good ratings than complaints.. Makes ITV money and makes the nation laugh & cry.

NO LIKEY NO WATCHY!!

claig · 02/01/2011 21:55

Yes I did enjoy Tiswas. You were also unfortunate to have missed 'On the Buses'. But I believe that copies can still be found in discerning DVD emporia.

JoBettany · 02/01/2011 21:59

I have had the good fortune of watching re-runs of 'On the Buses' on ITV3. Sometimes they do an 'On the Buses' day.

I find it all most enjoyable.

claig · 02/01/2011 22:01

An 'On the Buses' day!!!. A fitting way to pay tribute. I must check the schedules. That is unmissable.

claig I am struggling to maintain standards for my children too. Sadly, not only are they NOT nominating me for an OBE, but the middle one has announced that he is leaving home the very second he is 16, because I am so unbearable and controlling. (he's 15 and a half.) Hmm

I let him watch Take Me Fucking Out on ITV. What more does he want? Angry

claig · 02/01/2011 22:16

I sympathise. Paddy McGuinness and associated programmes are a download slope. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Has he started demanding to watch Alan Carr Chatty Man as well? If so, I fear the situation is beyond control.

jonicomelately · 02/01/2011 22:18

Are you lot still going on about On The Buses! Grin
