I've come back to my phone to check for and urgent messages mumsnet and ice got 3 more happy new year messages, I've already had a couple if others.

No it just bugs me, it starts earlier every year and you still end up getting them through the night anyway.

Most people will be busy out enjoying themselves not trying to resend texts that wont go through at midnight.
