PIL were meant to be staying in London with us for New Year and helping to take care of DD for a couple of days while I did some work (freelance). They don't actually stay with us but in a relative's empty place nearby. MIL was quite excited about staying for New Year, I told her about the NY's day parade and we offered to cook/take them for lunch on NY day.
Today we asked them what time we'd see them tomorrow and they said they'd decided to travel home early tomorrow morning as the forecast was for rain on Saturday 
They're wierd aren't they? I mean, why aren't they taking over our house, telling us how to bring up DD and demanding to be waited on hand and foot?
